“Orlando Remodeler Nathan Cross of NWC Construction Named Florida Remodeler of the Year”
Orlando remodeling professional Nathan Cross, CGP CGR CAPS, of NWC Construction was named the 2010 Remodeler of the Year by the Florida Home Builders Association (FHBA) last week during a ceremony held in Tampa in conjunction with the association's Fall Leadership Conference.
The Remodeler of the Year Award is the highest ranking honor bestowed upon a remodeling professional within FHBA, a trade organization representing 26 local/regional associations across the state. Each year, the award is presented to one professional remodeler who has excelled in service to their industry, their association, and their community.
Cross, owner of NWC Construction, Inc. in Orlando is a consummate home building and remodeling professional who holds three national building designations. In addition to FHBA membership, he is an active member of the Home Builders Association of Metro Orlando (HBA). Cross holds a number of local, state and national leadership positions, and was most recently named HBA Treasurer, putting him in line for the association presidency in 2013.
His exceptional building and remodeling efforts have been recognized with a long list of industry awards, including the 2009 HBA Builder of the Year Award, six Aurora Awards, including 2 Grand awards, and seven Parade of Homes Awards, including 2 Grand Awards for Green Construction. He is a 2008 graduate of BUILD: Building University for Individual Leadership Development, a FHBA program. Cross mentors youth interested in the building industry as secretary of the Future Builders of America.
